Pre-filled is an added feature related to bulk tasks. It enables form designers or team leads to pre-fill some of the fields of forms they wish to attach to their tasks. 


In this article, you will learn how to create Pre-filled Tasks


Step 1 - Make Sure You Have the Right App

Select the app you wish to add a task to by clicking on the red arrow below the +NEW MOBILE APP button.


 

Step 2 - Open the Tasks Page

On the left sidebar, click on Tasks. From the top right corner, click on the Bulk Task button (highlighted in the image below). 



Step 3 - Download and Fill the Template 

First off, click on Download Template



If you want to attach a form with the tasks, select the desired form from the drop-down list (highlighted below), then then click on Download Template. 

The template file will be downloaded onto your device, and will also have the database mapped fields of the selected form.



After downloading the template, fill those fields



The following are the type of controls with database mapping that can be pre-filled while creating bulk tasks with forms attached: 

  • Date Picker
  • Date/Time Picker
  • Picker
  • Segmented (Single Selection only)
  • Slider
  • Stepper
  • Switch
  • TextBox
  • Time Picker

Step 4 - Upload the Template 

From the Tasks main screen, click on the bulk tasks button followed by Step 2- Upload Template.



The following screen will appear.



Choose the filled template file you filled. Finally, click on the Assign Bulk Task button.
